In a nutshell, music is my first love, and discovering new beats daily is my kind of bliss.

My musical tastes are as mood-dependent as a cat’s willingness to entertain your affections—totally unpredictable. I’m not genre-shy; I can groove at a rap show, twirl at a country dance, or solemnly nod at a classical recital. But experimental free-tune jazz? Now that’s where I draw the line—it grates on me like a fork on a plate.

It’s not that I don’t have my favorites, but music simply fills my soul, and I’m always up for swapping tracks. If you’re looking for a melody buddy, congratulations, you’ve hit the jackpot!

📚 BOOKS

The tome that rocked my world in my twenties was Nietzsche’s "Thus Spoke Zarathustra". But I also love a good chuckle, so Jerome K. Jerome’s "Three Men in a Boat" floats comfortably in my top three. Truth be told, I don’t read as much as my bookshelf would hope. Last summer’s attempt to change that led me to join a book club—because sometimes, you just need a little peer pressure to turn those pages.

I do love to learn about different cultures and how people live and see the world through their experiences.

I enjoy art, music, and good company. There's almost nothing I would say no to, but I tend to play it safe when it comes to more extreme sports and thrills—we all have only one body, after all. So, no jumping out of planes for me.

I am open-minded, but as Latvians, we do not discuss religion, sex, and politics at the dining table. Everyone is entitled to their own point of view, but to be upfront, I'm a centrist/leftist, pro-choice, pro-freedom, pro-love. I love a good laugh, so if you have different views or beliefs, it's best to let me know so I don't step on any toes.

I can share a lot about Latvian traditions, food, culture, and history, but if you are looking for an actual tour with a guide, we can manage that too, as I happen to know some hardcore historians who might be willing to tag along. If you are in Riga and ready to explore lesser-known places and see it a bit closer than most tourists would, let’s make it happen!

I don't drink or smoke, but I still hit the clubs / events and venues to dance the night away. I’m happy to show the nightlife in Riga (even though I'll be sober). And, honestly, nobody can even tell — I know how to have fun and to be in the moment. Plus, I don’t mind at all if everyone else is blissfully drunk 😊
