About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, that are fun to spend time with.

ABOUT ME

My friends would say I'm a relaxed person with humor. They would also say that I'm chaotic, something I unfortunately have to confirm. I'm easy in making new contacts and I'm almost always cheerful, but in the morning I need some time to wake up. Most people will say I'm a kind person, but I also often say what I think, something not everyone appreciates. I like to know what's going on in the world and spend a lot of time with friends and family.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not really a philosopher, but I do have a certain motto in live which is: 'Don't run for heavy weather, but learn to dance in the rain!' But also: 'There's always something you can do better than anyone else: being yourself!'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For my studies I need to go abroad to improve my Spanish. Years ago I met a guy I worked with in France and who lives in Valencia. This year I'm going to visit him, but he also has to work. That's why I would like to meet people to visit the city and have a drink.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mucic: Keane, Anouk, U2, Shakira, Goldplay, Alanis Morissette, Roxette etc etc.
Movies: What lies beneath, How to lose a guy in ten days, Overboard, The pursuit of happiness, The holiday, O brother, where art thou etc etc.
Books: I don't read so may books, but liked 'Et si c'était vrai' from Marc Levy and 'Tanja, een Nederlandse bij de FARC' from Leon Valencia and Liduine Zumpolle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things I have done are my trip to Mexico, I worked for three months in Spain to teach French and I was also three months in Lille in France to study French there. Those are things that I loved to do and were a great experience for me.
