Well, what to tell. I am an easygoing person who is very curios. Sometimes not really a good trade but I try to keep it in check.

In 2009 I decided that I want to see a little bit of the world, well specifically i wanted to visit New Zealand. So I packed my stuff and left Germany to experience the otherside of the world. What I did not expect and so did neither who knew me beforehand was that I got bit by the travel bug and did not come back to Germany for 2,5 years. Besides New Zealand I visit French Polynesia, United Kingdom of Tonga, American Samoa, Western Samoa and Australia.

I am currently living in Stralsund which is at the Baltic Sea and studying Leisure and Tourism Management.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A travel companion of mine in New Zealand introduced me to couchsurfing and I have to say it is an amazing idea. I also was travelling from Sydney to Cairns with 2 friends of mine from school. One of them already travelled that route and was couchsurfing at her frist trip, so she contacted some of her hosts and we could stay with them again which deepend my couchsurf experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read, any and every kind of book.

I love mumford and sons but I like a variety of music. My favorite genres are rock, reggae, dancehall, punk and ska.

I do not watch a lot of movies or TV therefore I do not have any favorite movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling around New Zealand I decided to go on a short holiday trip to French Polynesia with a friend. However, the travel god did not want me to leave Thaiti after 8 days due to a strike. Thankfully I meet a crewmember of a sailing boat which let to an extended sailing trip around French Polynesia. It was an amazing experience and I decided to join them again for a while and sailed around United Kingdom of Tonga, Western Samoa and American Samoa.
