ABOUT ME

My name is Inge, I live in Groningen for about 7 years now. I rent an appartment at the indische buurt where I live with my two cats. It's small but cosy. I've studied in Groningen and now I am working as a speech therapist in a practice in Groningen. I help especialy children (and some adults) who have difficulty in speech, language, stuttering, voice etc.

PHILOSOPHY

I live here and right now. I don't look far into the future. 'Look at the positive and learn from the negative'. I try to be open minded and want to experience new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like the activities organised by couchsurfing. I joined the dutch meeting group several times, cooking club and salsa dancing. I like to participate more often in other events. It's nice to meet people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't feel very comfortable to have someone over for the night. Because I want to offer more than I can now. I'ts very small here and I don't even have a sleepingbag or anything.
If I move to a larger place I will think about it again.

I like to rent a movie, go to the cinema. I like to listen to music. I like to read en write. I sometimes go to the library.

I don't know if I know a lot about Groningen. I live here already 7 years. I can imagine there are people from other places that now more about Groningen then I do. It's common that you don't see a lot of touristic places in your own town.
