ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old Dutch Mechanical Engineer who had the luck of having a father at KLM (the Dutch airlines), meaning I got the chance to see much of the world for only a fraction of the normal ticket price =).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I frequently host people in my humble apartment in the center of Leiden and I always have a good time with my surfers!

I also participate and host a lot of local get-togethers, including the Friday drinks, but also cocktail parties, Sunday chillouts & Basketball sessions =).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had great experiences with all surfers so far, and made many friends in the local couchsurfing community!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I enjoy many type of movies, from the crappy big Hollywood blockbusters to the small movies that really know how to touch you... Don't read enough but I enjoy popular science books a lot, and music is mostly punk rock oriented, but a lot will entertain me =)

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Snowboarded at -37degC (okay that's including wind-chill-factor). I've compared the Victoria falls, Niagara falls & Foz do Iguacu falls, where Iguacu was one of the most beautiful placed I've ever visited!

Well one think my travels have taught me is that you shouldn't have rattling coins in your pockets when confronted by Brazilian street children... ;)
