From October 2011: Be working in Australia on the resilience of coral reefs

ABOUT ME

I'm a PhD student at the university of Wageningen and trying to understand the occurence of sudden shifts in ecosystems, such as coral reefs. My largest hobby is travelling. I've visited countries, like China, Mongolia, New Zealand, Malaysia, India, Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Russia and South Africa (Soccer World Cup 2010). I'm currently living together with my boyfriend Sjoerd in the Netherlands. We're planning to go to Australia (Townsville) for half a year from October 2011. I like to hike in the mountains and doing sports, like squash or running. Besides, I'm fascinated by mindfulness, meditation and yoga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am happy to host couch surfers, to show them around in Nijmegen and surroundings (if I have time), or just offer them a bed/ couch. I am travelling both for work and pleasure and looking forward to visit other couch surfers, for a cheap and fun place to stay.
