Well, right now, it is organizing this road trip through the UK and Scotland with some friends who are girls.

ABOUT ME

Oh dear I always find these descriptions difficult, mainly because I think we all change all the time. Actually, a friend told me that's what she thought and I thought it was a wonderful thing to think so I adopted it. You could see it as a protective mechanism, but I reckon it simply allows you the freedom to go in any direction you choose. You can only pin down a lie. I can however tell you a few things which are likely never to change. I am a borderline chocoholic, as was my mother before me; I forget everyone's birthday including my own; I am terrible at maths and squeak when I sneeze.

PHILOSOPHY

"Still trying to figure that one out." Because it's so important to keep exploring. Something finished is something on its way down.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

With housework? Or generally in social contexts? I know I can take an active part in a conversation as well as simply listen. I like games and I can get competitive, but I'm OK at losing. I do actually rather enjoying vacuuming, just in case.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had one so far, and that was when a lovely school teacher came to pick me up from a beach in Le Havre where I was about to spend the night. I had the misfortune of missing the last bus around the coast and was stranded. I was bracing myself for a cold night when this guy answered my call for help.

I would so love to learn how to tie proper knots like in the scouts. I feel I have missed out. I can teach you how to make good coffee, how to break an apple in half using just your hands, how to do a really good booty shake.
