CURRENT MISSION

Moving cross country, taking a couple months to road trip while I'm at it.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in small-town rural Manitoba, Canada. After high school, I moved on to Winnipeg MB for college then later to Vancouver, BC Canada. After four years there, I've moved back to Winnipeg. I spent some time in high school and college traveling within Canada but it wasn't until I did the ubiquitous whirlwind backpacking tour of Europe in August '07 that the travel bug really sunk its teeth in.

Nowadays I'm all about road trips, camping trips, backpacking trips, hiking trips and even just tourist jaunts around my own city - it doesn't matter where I go just as long as I go somewhere.

After working for Acer at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, it only seemed logical to follow them and work a year in London. I've been living in Vancouver again since 2012 and now I'm on the move again. Heading to the Toronto area, probably Hamilton.

PHILOSOPHY

The universe is more bizarre than we can ever hope to comprehend so I try to approach life open mind and level head. Balancing a good life with a fun, slightly malevolent spirit is very important to me.

July 2017: I work remotely now so this August and September, I'll be taking advantage of that by traveling across Canada. Hoping to find some interesting hosts who can tell me a bit about their cities.
