Sitting on a dock that extended out over one of the lakes in my hometown while a thunderstorm rolled in over the water. We got there a little before the storm hit and watched the clouds approach over the water. Lightning was everywhere out over the horizon, striking the same places 2 or 3 times and even arcing from cloud to cloud. We could see the rain actually coming towards us over the water and felt the humidity get completely sucked out of the air. The clouds were a rainbow of really dark colors and once the rain reached us, we got soaked to the bone in five minutes.
