ABOUT ME

Hi!

My name is In Jae and I am currently a 21 year old student on an adventure to California. I was born and raised in South Korea (a city called Ilsan) and I came to the US when I was 11 years old to live with my aunt & uncle and go to a small suburban christian school in Michigan. Ever since then, a drive to succeed, cultural identity, religion, spirituality, and traveling have all become a common theme in my life and as I find myself a rising senior at the University of Michigan, I decided to come out to the Bay Area to test out my dreams and further discover myself.

I love being both extremely active and cooly passive. I enjoy running around doing spontaneous things, but I also enjoy a nice beer with friends. My favorite part about traveling is the people I meet and their unique stories and I'm looking forward to learning something from everyone I encounter along the Way!

I enjoy being honest. I will start out being much more 'agreeable' at first interaction, but will also become more and more 'open' with my thoughts and feelings as I get to know the other person better.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Life-saving.

I am usually a late minute planner and go-with-the-flow kind of guy, so I sometimes end up connecting with a host merely few days before my arrival. I know it's terrible and I always tell myself I will change my ways, but every one of my hosts who has hosted me has been incredibly accommodating despite the short notice and I'm incredibly thankful for that.
