Hey everyone! I think it is always quite difficult to describe oneself, but I'll try it ;-)
Well, I'm a German backpacker and I have been in Australia since September 2015.
I am spontanious, curious, uncomplicated, open-minded, emotional and mostly optimistic regarding everything I do (or try to do :D)
My friends say that I'm easy going, empathic and funny (well sometimes).

I love being with people. I have four siblings and I really enjoy spending time with them as well as with my friends. My intentions during my Australia trip are to learn more about the Australian culture, to improve my English and to meet people from different nations :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am very curious, I want to get to know people who live in the country I'm visiting. I think staying at someone's house gives you a much better impression of the culture than staying in a hostel.
Besides, I always feel much better to be with people than alone :)

Interests

I really like doing sports. At home, I go swimming, in-line skating and jogging.
Then, I love spending time in the kitchen. I'm not the best chef but not the worst either ;-) I like baking and cooking and trying new recipes.
I am also interested in music. Actually, I don't like a certain kind but I like many different types. Besides, I love playing the piano.
Finally, I enjoy spending time with my friends, it doesn't matter if we go out or have a nice 'movie-evening' with chocolate and ice cream :)
