I could say I'm living an exciting life but to be honest I'm rather quite a dull person, compared to most couch surfers. I don't even eat meat ;-) I'm married to a great guy for over 30 years, we have 3 children, 2 granddaughters and a crazy dog. Kids have moved out and sometimes, when I'm in between projects I like to go out, explore the world (and my inner world).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to find places to stay on my trips in the first place. It's not my goal to make new friends but meeting new people is fun and .... one never knows where it may lead to.

兴趣

Since a couple of years I started sailing a small sailing yacht, together with my husband. From hating it in the beginning, I now must admit I quite like it. After exploring the Dutch lakes, we sailed to France, England, Denmark and Sweden. More than I could ever dream of and we're still dreaming about more. Sailing has become a main interest, next to crafting, reading, and making trips in and outside the Netherlands.

Ehhhhh wow, that's not so easy to answer. Maybe the one thing I would never have thought I could do but still did: taking care of my mother with Alzheimer for several years.
