ABOUT ME

all? ok. i like to climb and ride a lot. love food, cooking and eating. open to new food, art religion whathaveyou. very open minded. growing up in a tattoo shop will do that. cant stop drawing on stuff/people.
i write. this is new for me and kinda suprising but hey im open to new. im going to need to buy some books. montreal was an eye opener as to launguage barriers. i think i did well but people definatly laughed right at me.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the change you wish to see. cliche? sure but its true.
do what you want and want what you do and dont hurt anyone with what you want or do. there has to be a simpler way to say it though.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

all in coach. im new here and on the road right now but when i have a couch it'll be surfed. ive had couches and tables and chairs surfed before just not thru this project. if you can find it i have a cabin up for surfing in. details are under my couch.
i'm back in canada after 8 months in asia and europe. can't wait to host...after a trip round western canada to catch up with home people. october couch will be open in victoria. leaving again! june norway russia and ireland, july don't know. hope to be home by august sometime.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

ive been one end of bc to the other every month of the year hitch hiking and slept outside every month as well. when im on the road like that its usually a climbing or attooing trip. hard to hitch with a bmx altho i did spend a summer chasing my bike and tattoo gear from one greyhound station to another. im at home outside or in.

i like to teach. i have left behind me a couple of really good tattooists now and more than a couple passionate climbers.
quit my job and burnt all my stuff to go travelling. then meeting julia on the other side of the country at a time when she felt like doing the same thing only less drastic. then comitting to it.
climbed in the alps and norway and thailand.
tattooed a little blue star on an old man in mongolia.
tattooed a crazy fijian sailor in greece and then had to go get his commanding officer to send big sailors with me to retrieve him.

oh boy! climbing! tell me what you know and ill tell you what i know. this way we get review what we both know and share the rest. ive been climbing trad for 10 years and tattooing for 18. i can carpenter did it for 4 years but i wouldnt teach anyone anything they ouldnt learn by getting a job as one. on the other hand im a really good welder and know a fair bit about boats and floaty things.
