About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Love to find a way to cover the San Diego Comic Con as member of press.

ABOUT ME

I am a cartoonist, artist and writer. I currently am focusing a lot of time in writing about comics for Newsarama as well as working on my own comics.

I am an easy-going person. I love to explore and meet new people and get into new adventures. I travelled a bit, US and Europe, but would love to do a lot more.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am totally new to this so I hope to do more as I grow with you guys. At the moment, it's finding a way to be in San Diego to cover the comics convention that has led me to you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I did a bit of couch surfing thanks to a friend in Seattle and that helped be decide to ultimately move to Seattle from Houston.

The all-time best, sort of couch, experience was when I stayed at a bed and breakfast in NYC. I met some very awesome people and I've written about it in a book.

Interests

I love good films, art, books, pop culture, sightseeing, life lessons, being out of my element. My interests are more geared towards creative stuff, drawing, writing and all manner of art making. I love nature and urban life pretty equally. It could be Paris or the Grand Canyon, both would be fascinating to me. I do love literature and journalism, all the liberal arts, exploring who we are, our motivations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer
Chinatown by Roman Polanski
The Submarines, Vampire Weekend, Camera Obscura

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

NYC is always amazing to me. Every visit offers up a new adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

A great place to start is to ask someone what they think the answer is to the meaning of life. It's a great way to start a conversation. I could ask someone if they would allow me to draw their portrait. That's always interesting. It could lead to a drawing lesson by me. It could lead to some unexpected suprise.
