ABOUT ME

My best friend (and sister) Taite says, "She's always busy doing new activities. She likes to fill her day with fun adventures. She's generous, passionate, and funny." I'm an introvert by nature, but an extrovert by choice.

I'm trying to say "yes" to as much as I can right now. I like to stuff my schedule to the gills.

I spend a lot of time thinking about traveling the world with limited means; being more self-sufficient; earthquake safety; dogs; helping people; poetry; playlists; brilliant mustaches; and ghost towns.

I live with my boyfriend in a spacious townhouse in fabulous Seattle.

I've surfed a couple of times and so far I love it! What a great way to see new places and to meet wonderful new people. I hope to open my home to surfers soon.

Interests

My regular activities include rehearsing with the singing group I co-founded; playing with my dogs; grad school; and pole dancing classes. I also like getting "lost" in Seattle for the sake of a better adventure, and attending various cultural events.

Music, Movies, and Books

I cannot choose a favorite anything, because I am pretty enthusiastic about all the things that I like. I love old music (Kay Starr, Ella Fitzgerald, Django Reinhardt) and new (Haim, Grizzly Bear, Father John Misty). I'm mostly vegetarian but I'll try most anything at least once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My boyfriend and I rented a car and traveled the circumference of Iceland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty good at making strange faces! I love to sing. I'm good with pets. I'm not especially crafty, but I'm happy to help with projects and with meals. I'll read poetry out loud to you if you want.
