About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet other passionate artists and creative people who are interested in making a social difference in this world.

ABOUT ME

I am an independent, inquisitive and intuitive woman who thinks for herself. I have a lot of drive and am very passionate and motivated in my daily life. I deeply care about the wellbeing of others and am focused on finding effective ways to shift injustice in this world through humanitarian studies and art. I do believe that in order to inspire and motivate positive and healthy change outside of us, one must start within.

The world is my studio.

PHILOSOPHY

"Happiness depends upon ourselves." - Aristotle

No pain no gain!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never couch surfed before, and have heard great things from my friends who have. I am down for the adventure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None for me yet, but The best stories i've heard thus far was from my two friends who couchsurfed in a VW bus in Bretagne, France! Pretty rad!

Interests

Walking amongst neighborhoods and viewing other peoples gardens. Day hiking, camping - with goals to backpack on the horizon. Nesting, road trips, serendipitous moments with "strangers", learning new skills and actualizing ideas into the physical world - sculpture, drawing, building, gardening, design of a space - working with my hands! Continuing my education in welding is my next step in my career, with a vision and goal to create large scale public sculptures out of steel.

Dancing to new genres, genuinely inquiring about people's motives and drives - I enjoy getting to know how people perceive and flow through life and the stimulating conversations that come from this. I deeply enjoy when I am able to gain a new perspective on myself, humans and life in general through conversations and new connections. Philosophy, Jungian psychology, reading, yoga, alternative living/lifestyle, social practice, meditation, family. etc.

- Embracing change, encouraging growth and finding balance is a personal and daily goal for me.
- Learning to let go and be flexible.
-To get up each day and trying to practice moving through life consciously and whole-heartedly while cultivating self love towards myself, and my fellow humans.

Music, Movies, and Books

Honestly, there are so many I could list, and I would rather be traveling than typing them all, so here is a few genres:

Music: techno, techno, techno, electronic, dub, reggae, metal, chillwave, folk, acoustic, tribal, hard bass, blue grass, cello, music from other cultures symphony, acoustic, viking metal, swedish metal, . I do not really stick with one genre, I really enjoy experiencing new and eclectic music, like I do with food.

Books: philosophy, theory, self help, spiritual, etc. Currently reading the Secret Power of Yoga by Nischala Joy Devi

Movies: foreign, romantic, documentaries, comedy/goofy. Not a big horror fan, but somehow all of my friends are, so I open up to it around them, but do not seek it myself.

Life is a movie, I do not really spend my time watching them often.
