ABOUT ME

I’m Omar Ilyas, an ordinary Sri-Lankan with the occasional need to pack my bags and get away. Sometimes, caught up in the daily grind of my job, I succumb to laziness and watch a lot of movies, until something or someone comes along with a great story or photograph of their latest adventure and ignites that wanderlust in me again.

There are lots of us out there, these people who love to explore and see the world, but just need that spark and reminder to get up and do something. Hopefully this helps all of us Occasional Travellers!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life, solely for the purpose of doing good to the world.
Once a person sets up a vision in life and achieves it, then he will be able to die a peaceful death.
i live to help people around me. !! any anyone who needs it.
And when i feel that i need a break, GOD has given me the freedom of travel... and GOOD people called Couch Surfers to make travel a better experience!!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How i participate in Couch Surfing is not what really matters. Its how my guests and whom i travel with understands me... If they feel comfortable like at home and, feel amused and happy. Then how i participate in CS can only be explained by them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I prefer to be a surfer than a host. But destiny and fate a.k.a family genes, have given me this talent to take care of the people close to me.
My experiences are few, but i'm sure that it has made a difference to the world.!!!
