About Me

CURRENT MISSION

What the hell are we doing?! Let's all take a big step back and have an honest and objective reasoned look at ourselves!

ABOUT ME

"To talk nonsense in one's own way is almost better than to talk a truth that's someone else's."

F. Dostoevsky

"Philosophic speculation is the invention of the rich."

V. Nabokov

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others, ten commandments. Try to end the night still being able to look people in the eyes the next day. I swear, that's harder than it should be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Generally uncooperative rabble-rouser.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing particularly relevant to the circumstances here, but I have been all over the world, and have stayed on a few couches. I am more likely to clean than to mess up.

Interests

I like to follow up on curent events and politics. History and arguing about the trivial details are my passions.
I read a lot. Listen to music...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like everything...
... it's funny, because I feel as though I have grown tired of the things I have always liked, but remain biased against those things I haven't.

Newspapers, Weekly papers, homework.
The last show that I saw was Monotonix. I like books and records a lot, and frequently exercise both.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attended a neo-Nazi state sponsored concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Not all the acts were Nazis, but the good ones were. Scary. As one of two white kids in a sea of Malays, Chinese and Indians, with bands "sieg heil'ing" and speaking in German, were we safe or were we targets? Did these kids realize that their grandparents had been conquered by the Japanese during the Second World War, or were they ignorant of a history that left their people in work camps? What does a Malay-Nazi have going through his or her head, anything?

Teach, Learn, Share

Everybody everywhere is wrong 100% of the time in one regard or another.
