ABOUT ME

I'm a sociologist and work as a research assistant in Berlin. I'm a very social person and I like to help other people, share my knowledge with them if needed and get to know about their experiences, personality and knowledge. I'm a relaxed and thoughtful person, I don't need a lot of adventures every day. But if there are some, I really enjoy them!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have mostly been surfing on other people's couches and only hosted two guests once. It was a pleasure to stay at every single place and also to have people over. I love to support the idea of bringing people together throughout the world, who are interested in other people's lifes and perspectives. For me it's especially interesting to get to know the people who live at the places that I am interested in exploring. You learn so much more about these places when you actually talk to the people living there.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have met my favorite band after waiting for them for hours and hours after their show. They gave us a beer and started chatting with us. It was amazing. Their music means a lot to me, so this was one of the most special moments in my entire life.

In September 2015 I was lucky to hike the W-trek in Torres del Paine in Chile. What an incredibly beautiful place! Very, very special! And I met amazing people!

Another amazing thing for me personally was a four days hike on the South West Coast Path in England. I enjoyed the beautiful coastline in the foggy November weather and hiking by myself a lot. I met many nice people at the B&B places I stayed at.

Snorkeling on Hawai'i, seeing all of these colorful fishes and the huuuge turtles! Also, being part of the Ironman experience, cheering my aunt who is an Ironman!!! Mauna Kea was also amazing!
