ABOUT ME

I am an introvert. I hope that my friends have enjoyed having meaningful quiet times with me. I am fond of listening to others' stories about their passions, countries, life experiences in general and like to share mine.

I am not usually "the chef" when it comes to cooking, but I always try to help with the ingredient preparation and washing dishes after enjoying the meals. I am learning to cook some traditional Vietnamese dishes.

I will be more than happy to take you around Helsinki which I would love to call my second home. I am not really into nightlife in the city center, but I have been in some bars and pubs with friends. However, if you are new to town, want to go to some museums, churches or stroll along some beautiful parks and streets having Jugend buildings that have been well-preserved from the beginning of 20th century, I can be your tour guide :D.

PHILOSOPHY

I would like to, sometimes, wake up and feel that I am in the place that I long for. I often find that sense of closeness came with interpersonal relationship.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read about Couchsurfing on a travel blog two years ago. It is my summer holiday now, so I think it is a good time to start hosting and surfing - being a part of Couchsurfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had travelled experience with Couchsurfing yet, but I have stayed in my friends' friends' apartments when travelling. I always respect my new meet people's privacy, and show my appreciation for their help.

Intereses

Recently, I have been interested in Helsinki architecture and history.

Music has a great role to play in my life up until now. I would want to know the ideas and stories that the song writers, composers put into their piece of art.

Música, películas y libros

Some movies that I love: Once, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Into the Wild, One day, La Vie en Rose (2007). I am a Ghibli fan.
Singer-songwriter is my favourte type of musicians. Being able to write and sing about your stories is a fine gift. My favourite artists: Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, James Blunt, Norah Jones, Joe Hisaishi.
