ABOUT ME

I'm an atypical college guy who doesn't party much, doesn't smoke or drink much, but I love to travel. I try to save all I can throughout the year and then find some place to visit friends and such in the summers, but now that I've found couch surfing, I hope to be able to travel more frequently. If you're looking for a place to crash in K'zoo, message me =)

PHILOSOPHY

The point of life is to just live happily and enjoy as much of it as you can. Do as little harm as possible, do as much good as you can. Be truthful, even if it means being blunt.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've got three couches in my apartment at this time. It's not a huge place, nor is it super-awesome-sweet, but if you want a place to crash in the 'zoo, message me and we'll try to work things out. Also, I'm up for going out for coffee or a drink pretty much anytime =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my couch surfing has been done with friends in England. In the summer of 2006 I flew to the UK for 23 days and stayed with friends the entire time. I loved staying with cool people and seeing the country, and I can't wait to see more places the same way.

Interests

I love books, live theatre, going to concerts, seeing movies, driving around, finding sweet restaurants, and lots of other things. I tolerate all kinds of music, and like most genres. I'm up for trying new things all the time, so if you think there's something awesome I should try, tell me please, I'd love to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life itself is pretty amazing when you let yourself actually think about it. The most amazing thing I can really remember is seeing the Aurora Borealis when I was very young, maybe 3 or 4 years old. And sitting in an old tree near my family was this little family of raccoons that seemed like they were watching the lights with the same amazement as us. Or maybe I dreamed it all /shrug.

I want to learn as many languages as possible. I've spent 1 year studying Mandarin and Spanish, 2 years on Japanese, 3 years on Latin...I want to learn whatever I can.
