I am a recent graduate student from Athens and i live in Trieste, in Italy with an other greek girl for few months. I am working here at a Hellenic Foundation for Culture which means that we teach the greek language to foreigners and we organise cultural events. I like living in Italy a lot and i really like to have lots of things to do during my daily life. Additionally, i am kind, convenient and openminded a lot. Undoubtedly, new experiences and things excite me and that's one reason i am in Italy right now. Also, my friends would say that i am friendly enough and that i like helping other people. In fact, i believe that is the reason i chose this occupation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a friend in Greece who has been a member on couchsurfing for many years and it happened some of the times that he hosted someone to go out with them. I realised then how interesting it was meeting new people, especially people who are from other countries and you can share your habits, your cultural characteristics and offer hospitality for free! Having the ability to meet locals when you visit a place is not an easy task if you just choose to stay at a hotel, so in that occasion you might lose learning a place's secret or particularity. If trips are not for learning trully the place you visit, then are for what?

My favorite books are 1984 of George Orwell and Das Wochenende (The Weekend) of Bernhard Schlink .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, i think that deciding leaving from Athens and living somewhere else is amazing because since then i just knew other countries only from my trips. *************************************************************************
