CURRENT MISSION

spending time with my 2 year old son, doing puzzles and reading, having my hair stand up most of the times.
If not, enjoying the summer time when the evenings are longer with a bike-ride through the city

ABOUT ME

I am an architect and love to travel, having lived in California, Los Angeles, for 10 years, after being a Fulbright scholar there for 2 years. On my trips i like to meet and make friends across the world and to experience different cultural environments. I am pretty energetic, fun-loving and adjust well to changing circumstances. I am curious and adventurous and like to try all kinds of local cuisine. I appreciate good, dry humor.

PHILOSOPHY

Kunst ist schön, macht aber viel Arbeit. I love beeing creative and like people who are different from the average, I like the odd lot. I am trying to live in the moment, and appreciate the beauty of life (sometimes unsuccessfully...). I don't take myself not too serious at times (sadly so...)

Interests

Ashtanga Yoga, dancing (mostly Tango and 5 Rythm but others too), riding my bike as a major means of transportation, watching people and a day go by, good food > food markets, thrifstshops + fleamarkets, all things organic, travel, hiking, skiing, lying on the beach and reading a book

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

going on a 10 day silent meditation retreat in Fresno, CA and seeing the world in technicolor afterwards

chanting kirtan at a yoga studio and getting high without any other means but music and song

Meeting my partner Bernd on a jetty 6 years ago, although we went to school together.
Being a mom at 47, and going from being single to a patchwork family with 5 members. wow.
