ABOUT ME

It's been my my pleasure to travel widely in the United States and meet an army of remarkable and diverse folks. I've done a little bit of a lot of different things over the years, and traveled to 49 of our 50 states (Alaska just became #50!)

My background is in construction, most recently as a consultant for large community-build playgrounds.

I am a volunteer administrator for Ithaca Generator, a non-profit makerspace.

I am in the process of launching OpenFilter.org a charity project to provide relief to people affected by wildfire smoke.

I first joined couchsurfing when I was hitch-hiking around the country and looking to meet interesting people, be part of a community, and sleep indoors on the cheap.

I guess my reasons haven't changed much!
