Hello everyone. I´m a Basque girl who studies Social Work Degree settled in Santiago for a while. I´m really excited to be here and I want to make the most of this experience.
About me, I would say that I´m a really optimistic and happy person. I try to be always smiling because I have no reasons to be sad. I´m tolerant and open minded and I firmly believe in equality and in social justice, and that´s why I want to work as a social worker, just to try to make of this world a better place to live.
In addition, I love talking as much as listening, there is nothing better than a good conversation, and I strongly consider that is the best way to learn.
I have always known that travelling is one of my passions and something that really inspires me, and now I´m ready to travel as much as I can in order to learn many kind of jobs and languages, discover new cultures and places as well as meeting new amazing and wonderful people all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling and meeting new people is what I like most, and Couchsurfing gives me the chance to do both things. I’ve always thought that the best way to know a place and its culture is through the local people, as those are the ones that will teach you their languages, traditions, food… And in exchange I’d share my stories and everything I know with them. And that´s the point, right? Share personal experiences, knowledges, passions or inquietudes with a beer, going for a walk, or even listening to music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Staying outside is my major passion: being in the beach under the sun, going hiking, a barbeque afternoon with my friends, play basketball … and recently I have tried surfing, and I loved it!
Music is other of my passions. I have played the Violin for years and it´s something that I still love doing. Apart from that, Basque and Spanish music are my favorite ones, but now that I live in South America I´m desiring to discover new groups and music styles.
Speaking about films, I really like knowing new ones, so if you have any recommendation, let me know, except if it is a love story, sorry about that...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I tried Paragliding and I really loved it. At the moment I´m living in Chile, a childhood dream that has come true, so I´m just waiting to live new, amazing and unique experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a native Spanish and Basque speaker, so I could teach you a few words, cook you some traditional dishes… Apart from that, I have plenty of stories to share with anyone that's willing to listen and I'm keen to listen plenty of stories anyone has to share. They say I'm a great listener.
