HI there.
My name's Irena, I'm English and have settled in Brittany where I arrived 20 years ago in an old VW Combi and thought how nice it was.
I now have 2 children, my daughter is 17 and my son 19. He is currently hitching around the world and coach surfing....which is what kind of gave me the idea to do this. I would love to meet people who are travelling and in need of a place to stay.
I love animals and nature, I have 2 cats and a dog and a big garden with a veg plot. I sing in a group of women (world music and improvisation) and play the piano. I also do yoga and walk in the sea. I'm a non smoker and I really don't like being in a room with smokers. I am mostly vegetarian too and quite often vegan.

I guess my son inspired me to do this because he's travelling around and staying in people's houses and he's having such a great time. I think it's a great way to share something real with other people, and could be really rewarding. A way to get away from consumerism and our individualistic society.
