ABOUT US

We are a young couple (Irene 25, Carles 28) from Barcelona who decided to stop dreaming about travelling and went for it. In the summer of 2015, we left our beautiful hometown to start the adventure of our lifes. We travelled around Southeast Asia, Australia and Europe for 13 months and we got hooked with the travel bug. It was very fulfilling and we learned, teached and appreciated how lucky are we to have the opportunity to travel and live this unique experiences. After a year in Barcelona, we are eager to keep discovering other cultures, learned from other ways of living and meet people from different countries. That's why we are back on the road since October of 2017 looking forward to live new adventures.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

As travellers, one of the things we enjoy most is getting involved with the culture of the places we visit. We love to observe what they do and how so we can learn from it. CS is awesome because it allows us to meet locals and most of our best moments in our travels have come throught CS. It's wonderful to see the world through other people's eyes and try to learn something from what they have to say about their country or yours.

We both love travelling and that's what makes us happier. But apart from the obvious one, we have many other hobbies in common such as reading, writing, going on a trekking and being sorrounded by nature. However, we have our own particular interests as well. Carles is so much into sports, above all he loves watching and playing football. He is a big fan of Barça since he was a little boy. He also likes photography and has quite a few interesting photos of our trips. Irene is more keen on cooking and sharing her meals. She is good at preparing desserts and making life sweeter to everyone who is around her. She also loves being sorrounded by animals.

Pack our backpacks, say goodbye to our friends and family and travel with a one-way ticket.

Travelling two months and a half around Japan only by hitchhiking and surfing every night at locals' homes. It was amazing to get into know the Japanese culture from inside :)

Volunteering in a Cambodian English school, it's always wonderful to learn and share from the children. They can teach you also many things about their culture and always with a big smile on their face.
