I was lucky enough to be oversees for about 2 years between 2014 and 2016 traveling, visiting family, volunteering and studying. Couchsurfing was a great way for me to meet people from all over the world, and I learnt so much from them about different ways of living and seeing the world!

Now I'm home I like to keep alive the travel spirit by traveling within my own city, and meeting both locals and foreigners.

I'm caring, playful, and interested in learning and sharing. I like getting involved, whether in a hands-on way, or through conversation.

Books: I just devoured Anais Nin's 'Spy in the House of Love'. I'm currently enjoying Italo Calvino's 'The Baron in the Trees' and Alain De Botton's 'The Consolations of Philosophy'.

Films: On the plane home from South Africa I burst into tears watching 'Rabbit Proof Fence'. I loved 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and 'Wall-E'.

Music: yes please (eclectic taste)
