Surely, I am not as fun as I considered myself some years ago, but I do like to do fun activities in the mountains, like trail running, hiking, ski mountaineering, climbing, etc. Honestly, it is the only thing I do, plus crocheting and cooking.

I envy those living in the countryside, and yet I live in a little town surrounded by nature. I love English, this is why I became a translator, and now I am a freelance always looking for the perks of being a freelancer (because taxes are not).

I have a husband and two cats, but still, in my thirties, I do not own a house. Soon I will, I know it! We have a ban, though. No prospects for kids yet.

And here I am, back in the CS community some good years later.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because, this May, I’ll be doing a solo hiking trip across the Highlands and I would use some help from locals when arranging things at my arrival. Also, let’s be honest, because hotels are too expensive and I am too old for hostels myself.

Interests

Let me do a list, cause I have many: as I’ve said before, I am always having fun in the mountains. From trail running to ski mountaineering, I do it all but all wrong. I love cooking and baking, and I even have a professional training degree on it. Sustainability is something I really care about, try to reduce on plastics, buy local and avoid chemicals on clothing when buying it. I like all sorts of things, really, like a good and long tea with milk every morning, and taking care of my wellbeing.
