I recently moved to Portugal and now looking for new friends and interesting job here.

Originally I am from Crimea, Ukraine. 🇺🇦
Studied in Odessa, Ukraine, where I got my bachelor degree in Hotel and Restaurant Business. Also I have done an Erasmus year in United Kingdom, studying events management and thats what I really want to do (dreaming to organize a music festival, something like Glastonbury haha).
Before moving to Portugal I lived Saint Petersburg for a while and left Russia because of the war.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that meeting people is one of the most important parts of exploring the world. Through my experience on couchsurfing I have met so many amazing people, who made those trip really special.
I also travel on my own sometimes, so couchsurfing is a great way to make new friends on the road.
To sum up, now I even cant imagine planning a trip without opening couchsurfing, even if I dont need a host. Regular tourism feels a bit boring :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Muse, Nothing But Thieves, Blur, Oasis, The Beatles, Kasabian, The Cure, The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys, Florence + the Machine, Franz Ferdinand, Glass Animals, Pixies, The Front Bottoms, The Stone Roses and many, many others!
Books: Harry Potter, George Orwell "1984", love to read musicians and artists autobiographies, and about travelling.
Films: it is hard to choose favourites, but here a few that I love - Fight Club, Trainspotting, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Star Wars, Forrest Gump. And since I was a child I regurarly watch Home Alone, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones :) As for TVshows (which sometimes I think I watch too much) it is Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Skins, Game of Thrones, Shameless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to live abroad. (already done it 3 times - to US and Turkey for 3 monthes, and than for a year in UK)
Volunteered on a few music festivals.
