ABOUT ME

We are a couple who live in a small town in Extremadura, a really nice part of Spain. We are both teachers so we have a lot of holidays and we like enjoying them as much as we can. And that obviously includes visiting other places and countries.
We like also meeting interesting people who with we could share experiences, conversations, laughs and good times. And that's why we are here!

Somos una pareja que vive en una pequeña ciudad de Extremadura, una región preciosa de España. Los dos somos profesores, así que tenemos muchas vacaciones y nos gusta disfrutarlas al máximo. Y claramente, eso incluye visitar otros lugares y países.
También nos gusta conocer gente interesante con quien compartir experiencias, conversaciones, risas y buenos ratos. Y por eso estamos aquí!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are newbies in CS, but our principal project right now is to organize an unforgettable trip to Greece, mainly to the islands, and we'd like to count on people who live there to get to know the real Greece.

We've changed our destination and now we're going to Italy! Also looking foward to visit different places and get to know different people.

Also, we offer our place to anyone who wants to visit us. Our region is not the most famous of Spain, or the most tourist, but if anyone wants to get to know a different part of Spain, with really nice landscapes and natural enviroment, this is the place you should come!

Somos novatos en CS, pero nuestro proyecto principal ahora mismo es organizar un viaje inolvidable a Grecia, sobre todo a las islas, y nos gustaría contar con gente que viva allí para llegar a conocer la verdadera Grecia.

Hemos cambiado nuestro destino este verano, ahora nos vamos a Italia! Tenemos un montón de ganas de ver sitios chulos y conocer gente interesante.

También ofrecemos nuestro piso a cualquiera que quiera visitarnos. Nuestra región no es la más famosa de España, ni la más turísitca, pero si alguien quiere conocer una parte diferente de España, con un medio natural y unos paisajes preciosos, este es el lugar al que hay que ir!

Music, dancing, going out with friends, travelling, reading, meeting new people, swimming, skiing, trekking, movies, beers, concerts, beaches, good/funny/interesting conversations...

Música, bailar, salir con los amigos, viajar, leer, conocer gente nueva, nadar, esquiar, hacer excursiones por el campo, ver pelis, tomar cañas, ir a conciertos, las playas, las conversaciones divertidas/interesantes,...

Music, Movies, and Books

- About music: it depends on the moment, but if we have to summarize it, we'd say rock&roll. But we really like is going to concerts.
- About movies... too many to say! From Billy Wilder to Tarantino, Woody Allen, Amenabar, Scorsese, Tim Burton... We love Argentine films. Irene loves science fiction (Matrix, Gattaca, Lord of the Rings, Man from Earth...) and Pablo loves any film with a creative idea and a good script.
- And finally, about books, Pablo has the same standars as in the movies, and Irene reads whatever she finds (The Cavebear Clan, The Pillars of the Earth, The Physician, La Espada de Fuego,...).

- Sobre música: depende del momento, pero para resumir, rock&roll. Lo que de verdad nos gusta es ver música en directo.
- De películas... hay demasiadas que decir! Desde Billy Wilder a Tarantino, Woody Allen, Amenabar, Scorsese, Tim Burton... Nos encanta el cine argentino. A Irene le encantan las pelis de ciencia ficción (Matrix, Gattaca, El Sr. de los Anillos, Man from Earth...) y a Pablo le encanta cualquier película que tenga una idea creativa y un buen guión.
- Y finalmente, sobre libros, Pablo piensa lo mismo que con las pelis y Irene se lee lo que le caiga encima (El Clan del Oso Cavernario, Los Hijos de la Tierra, El Médico, La espada de fuego, Los pilares de la Tierra...)
