Hi, I'm Irene :) Born, raised and currently living in Barcelona. I get excited about things pretty easily, and although I'm somewhat of an introvert, I love trying new things and meeting new people. At the moment I'm living in a kind of in-between state (not-a-student-anymore, not an-independent-adult-yet), which I'm trying to view as an opportunity to explore and discover things about me and the world, rather than a burden.

Couchsurfing for me represents a different way of traveling. It means packing my backpack with excitement, hitch-hiking on countless roads and collecting fun, exciting and bizarre stories along the way. Getting to know new places through the eyes of local people is always a wonderful experience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did a three-month long trip by hitch-hiking, it was quite an experience. I took a dip in a frozen lake in Sweden during winter. I performed a contemporary art piece in a beautiful building along with other 80 people. I saw a bunch of hot air ballons rise up above the amazing landscape of Kapadokya during sunset hours. I skinny dipped in the most amazing beach i have ever seen, in Portugal. and so many more to come... !
