Hi everyone! My name is Irene and I'm a 28 year old Italian girl who loves to travel, read and discover new things. I'm a very open minded person and I believe there's always something to learn from anyone - which is probably one of the main reasons why I enjoy travelling so much!

My biggest passion is and has always been reading - I could literally do nothing else for the whole day :) I also enjoy writing, watching films, going to music festivals and gigs, and going to the theatre. Also I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen - though the results are not always as good as I hope :)

I love artists such as Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead, Disclosure, Best Coast, Daughter and Frank Ocean.
When it comes to films, some of my favourites are Mulholland Drive, Moonrise Kingdom, Little Miss Sunshine, To The Wonder, We Are the Best, Welcome to the Dollhouse - just some random titles to give you an idea. Also I'm not ashamed to admit that I've seen and absolutely loved every single Studio Ghibli film, and even written my dissertation on them :)
Now, let's talk books! My favourite authors are Milan Kundera, Haruki Murakami, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Banana Yoshimoto, Leo Tolstoy, George Orwell and Italo Svevo. But I'm also a bit of a nerd and I will forever love the Lord of the Rings trilogy (with the rest of Tolkien's novels), the Harry Potter saga and A Song of Ice and Fire saga :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you Italian (my native language) and some English. I could help with copy-writing, proofreading, and likewise activities. Also being Italian I could share with you tons of great recipes :) and, if you have kids, I have 10+ years of experience as a childminder, so I could definitely help you out if you needed so!
