Traveling together. Irene is from Holland, but living in Argentina. Richard is from Argentina, born in the USA, but doesn't speak English that well ;-) At home we have a fine fruits farm and grow our own vegetables. Organic, of course. Since years he is hosting WWOOFers. Because it is so much fun to meet people from all over the world and learn about them, and teach them about sustainable living. Irene started exploring the world as a WWOOFer 2 years ago. Met a lot of people in South America and that is how we met.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We have a wide experience in WWOOFing (which is like couchsurfing, but then you work on organic farms and learn about permaculture and how to grow your own vegetables and fruit in a sustainable way, and for that you get your bed and food for free) as hosts and as volunteers. We have never couchsurfed before, but are already following the couchsurfing community for more than a year and heard good things about it from friends. Time for a reallife couch

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We live in Patagonia. Just living there is great. Every day you wake up in a postcard, you see condors circulating in the air. And we make roadtrips, with our red pickup truck. Sometimes as far as 6000 km. A great way to travel slow, see great landscapes and meet people and other cultures.

We are used to grow and make our own food. So we bake the greatest bread, pancakes, pizzas and empanadas, for instance.
