I came to Belgium for a PhD at Ghent University and now have been working as an R&D Engineer. I like couchsurfing for meeting new people and hosted when it was possible. Post-covid, I didn't use it for a long time also because of the requirement to pay for the subscription (that's why low response rate).

My main interests are in science and art. However, I love to have a deep conversation about any topic. I occasionally paint/sketch and write poetry (in my native language though). The link to my blog is following.

On regular basis, I go for running/swimming/biking, play ping-pong and practice martial arts. If you're a sport-enthusiast, I am your buddy :D

Hosting Status: I'm currently not able to host on the weekdays due to the housemates situation. However, it should be possible on the weekends if I am available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I reckon it's a great platform to break the pseudo-ethical, cultural and national barrier that people have created over the time. For me, CS is not just for a free stay, rather I consider it as a medium for meeting new people, learning new things and broaden my perspective. Basically, it's a win-win situation as the experience and learning are mutual.
