I likethe networking and connections Couchsurfing offers. The members of couchsurfing were my favorite part of my SE Asia trip. Their hospitality, friendship, immersion in the culture, adventures, and so on were invaluable! Even if I do not find a host, I love the friendships created, the advice offered, and the ability to offer likewise to other couchsurfers.
