Overview
About Me
Hello!
My name is Irina, but friends usually call me Ira. I am new on couchsurfing but quite experienced in travelling around the world. Some difficult and quite challenging events happened to me previous years, that is why I want to meet new people, broaden my horizons and explore the world as much as I can.
Philosophy:
Be nice, be kind, be friendly, be helpful and thankful to all the people you meet on your way.
Every person is unique and everyone has something to tell about.
Exploring new is the best way to live a full life, to be open-minded, peaceful and tolerant.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet new friends, share some dinner and drinks, to talk about travelling experience, hobbies and life in a different parts of the world. I am keen on the every day life practices, culture and lifestyle in different places all over the world, sharing some cultural experiences and just chilling. Happily, now it is a time when I have all the opportunities to do it. So, I want to live as full life as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Rock, metal, jazz, folc, ethno, even classics sometimes.
I don't read much these days, but I prefer non-fiction when I have time
As for films, it's thrillers, dramas, comedies (especially French ones), documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving and snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, skiing in Alps, visiting The Ice and Snow Festival in Harbin, traveling across the entire Trans-Siberian and Baikal-Amur Railroads, roadtrips along the Kolyma and Gobi desert.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I can teach: fun facts, lindy hop dancing, my travel experience and tips, some russian words, some russian dishes, history, ethnology and maybe some other things I've never thought about.
What I would love to learn: your experience, ideas, worldview, history and culture of your town, surfing, photo, kayaking, and whatever else you would like to teach me - I'm opened to any ideas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
