Hi, my future friend! My name is Ira Karpetskaya.
I am a creative, open-minded and optimistic person, who loves travelling and has an experience in communicating and hosting my international friends from Eqypt, India, Morocco, Gana, Belarus, China and etc. I was a member of AIESEC, if you know this organization) I am a musician. I play the guitar, sing and I had a rock-group. Moreover, i play the drums, the flute, the shaker and harmonica which is always with me :) I like dancing (for instance, I danced estrade dancings for a couple of years, hip-hop, waltz and Irish dances). I love socializing and have hundreds of friends, and sometimes we cooperate together and have big hugs of 100 or more people) As for Education and Science, I study Economics at HSE (Higher School of Economics). This includes deep knowledge of Maths, Theory of Games, Data Science, Theory of Probabilities and so on. As for sport, I adore basketball, running , volleyball and extreme kinds of sport.
I am a russian girl from the most beautiful city in my country - Saint-Petersburg and I have lots of funny stories! Futhermore, I find myself wise and conscious. Oh, I forgot! I love hiking the mountains very much! You feel freedom and happinnes when you climb to the top and enjoy the warm wind and the picturesque view!

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

Since my childhood I had a dream to travel a lot, and now it is time to make my dream come true! I've already been to half of the cities in Russia (you know, it is not a small country, haha) and was to Belarus, Turkey and Georgia by hitchiking.

I like reading literature which improves my personality. Poems in Russian and English. Sometimes I write poems and songs by myself.
And I read a lot of scientific literature at my university.

Классная вещь, которую я сделал(-а)

I have been a participant of the program for smart children for 3 years because I participated in Olympiads almost in all subjects. One time I worked on a design of a T-shirt, but i even had no skills in design) After 3 weeks of working hard I won the competition. Now 500 of smart students wear it and I am happy! :)
In May, 2017, i was selected as a member for the international "United Nations" conference in Istanbul.

I think that the process of sharing is one of the most important aspects of travelling. I have many ideas about everything! They even aren't connected with countries and nationalities. The personality is something bigger...
I can teach how to draw (I like drawing), teach how to play the guitar and so many things - just imagine! Haha
As for me, I want to learn how usual (or unusual) people live in your country) I don't like sitting at home and don't require any special conditions - just good relations, cosy atmosphere which depends only on mood and a place to sleep)
