ABOUT ME

It is a somewhat challenging task to try to create a self-portrait in a couple of words, so I will concentrate on the main traits potential hosts and surfers should know about me right now: I am friendly, sociable, always try to do my best to help, responsible, sensitive to the moods and needs of others. I am very fond of new experiences, new discoveries, new places and new people - in a word, of everything new and positive! =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Together with my husband we are now finishing renovation in our new flat. So, right at the moment it is somewhat problematic to invite guests to stay at our place, as the hall is so far not finished, there are no interior rooms and there is not much furniture. Nevertheless, we have already had our first experience as hosts in this flat in December 2015, when Denis from Feodosiya asked us to host him for 4 days. At that moment we had even a more large-scale renovation in the flat and even less comfort, still I think that in general Denis's stay went fine, and we all enjoined it. Our flat is situated near to a big beautiful park Udelniy and the metro station Udel'naya (it takes 20 minutes to get to Nevskiy prospect) and, I hope, it will be a fine place to stay at after the renovation is finished.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first Couchsurfing experience was on Christmas Eve 2011, when we together with my friend decided to go to Belgium. We realized that it was not the best time to ask people to host us, as Christmas Eve is a family holiday and, quite naturally, an intrusion of unknown people into your home on this Eve is most unwished. Nevertheless we were invited to come, and I should say this was really a great time in Belgium, with an extremely interesting guided tour around Brugge organized for us by one of our hosts! These are the moments in life which are surely retained in memory, and whose brightness and excitement is not lost after many years!

Generally I prefer classical works, but at the same time I am also open to new ideas and trends in art - though do not always understand them, but still strive for understanding! =)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Frankly speaking, I could think of several episodes in my life which I could describe as amazing: sometimes I was amazed at myself (when I discovered new facets in my own personality, the existence of which was a surprise for me =)); sometimes - amazed at others; sometimes - amazed at events and concourse of circumstances. The only thing which is common for all these amazing discoveries is that they all always have to do with my psychological openness for new experience and sometimes with overcoming of my complexes, fears, hesitations and with being ready to accept and welcome that NEW what life has for me!

I am absolutely sure that everyone has something valuable to teach others. The main thing is that you should be open to the process of sharing - both teaching and learning. I am open to this! =)
