I am positive thinking person who loves making new friends and gaining new knowledge. Open-minded and open-hearted. I like to travel and learning the world around me, and I definitely plan to travel more.

I am currently translating the only Iris Murdoch book that is still not translated into Russian (I am humbled and not too confident of my fiction translation talent, but it is exciting to try!)

My best travels were via Couchsurfing, they are always the warmest and most exciting. You can never plan everything in advance but the outcome is great (-:
Personal contact, communication, sincere talks, common activities, dinners on balconies, walks around cities at dawn, most interesting stories, making new friends - this is couchsurfing for me.

兴趣

I love literature and music. I am a synaesthetic, which in my case means when I hear music I also see and tangibly see a scene or an action happening. This is why I love music with a bit theatrical side.
Culture on the whole is another obsession of mine, no matter if it is painting or sculpture or architecture. I know quite a lot about many topics, so we can always discuss a lot.
Travelling is something I would love to do more but usually there are a lot of limitations. Anyway when I am able to get away from ordinary life, I try to explore and deepdive into new experiences.

Became an interpreter. That is truly amazing, though hard work

Travelled off-the-hook to Siberia (not hiking, though)

Taught a bunch of students at the local University, many of whom turned to be successful people

Together with another lady, I admin and moderate Tori Amos group in Russian social network VKonkakte. This can be tough at times but we learn people management through this, it seems!
