About Me
Hi!
I'm Iris. New to Couchsurfing but not stranger to travel. I've recently quit my full time job to take advantage of the travel perks of being a national brand ambassador and promotional model. Although I room with a friend here in Chicago, my new flexible schedule allows me lotsss of free time and I absolutely love to meet new people! So if you are ever in the city of Wind and would like to meet up, need me to show you around, or just looking for any travel advice I'm your person! In addition I work in the nightlife industry and have plenty of insight into the what's happening.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having quit my job and chosen a life of uncertainty, money is slim and I feel that the world is best traveled with connection to local natural life and in the absence of a comfy hotel.
Interests
Music Fests!!! EDC, SXSW, Spring Awakening, Wavefront, NorthCoast, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Ultra, all of them! Also: Working out. Bartending. Trying new foods. Traveling to new cities. Any physical activity that connects with nature (kayaking, hiking, etc).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once lost my swimsuit in the ocean while fighting a riptide and emerged like Ariel from the Little Mermaid... naked as the day I was born haha. Do I really have to just choose one though? I mean, I like the occasional controlled terror of doing things like jumping out of airplanes or trying new amusement rides.
Teach, Learn, Share
Peace. Love. Unity. Respect. Practice it, teach it, live it. We have so much to give to one another that money cant buy so why not share? I can also teach you how to perfectly fold a shirt in 1.5 seconds. Jus sayin'
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would never stay anywhere for absolutely free. Every host deserves some sort of compensation and I am the type of person that would also do "the little things" to make sure you know I appreciate your hospitality :)
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico
