My name is Iris Scott, I'm a full time working oil painter.
I LOVE TRAVELING and meeting funny people.

I grew up on a micro farm in the country/suburbs of Seattle where I fell in love with the outdoors.
When I was in college I studied abroad in Italy, where I decided that travel suited me well, so after I finished school I up-and-moved to Taiwan. In Taiwan in 2010 my painting career took off and from that point on my life has changed. My job is my life and I couldn't be happier.

I hosted a few surfers in Taiwan but now I'm home in Seattle!

PHILOSOPHY

To explore the world....particularly to experience as many languages and cultures as I can before I die.

As a personal philosophy, I believe very strongly that I need to learn how to enjoy being with myself before I can expect others to stand me.

I've hosted three travelers. Two from England, one from France. Very easy.

I have advanced skills in painting and drawing and I enjoy sharing those skills with others. Sometimes this means I give my drawings and painting away to friends, but I also would love to tutor anyone in drawing. ANYONE CAN BECOME GREAT AT DRAWING WITH JUST A FEW LITTLE TIPS. I always travel with my art supplies.
