I like coffee, the sound and smell of the sea, meeting others from all over and far flung places, eating toast upside down, letting dry rice run through my fingers, building sand castles, flying a kite, having a laugh and talking to mountain goats

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Have met some interesting ppl through CS, some who I still have contact with and of course, some not... I hope to be a couchsurfer forever!

Centres d'intérêt

power kiting, parachute jumping , going to music festivals and concerts, travelling (obviously), hiking, camping, photography, film, laughing while socialising, tackling mountains, learning about different cultures/societies, being in a place where I cant understand a single word the locals say, and music music music... Some day soon I will get to North Korea...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

wooo, this list could be long...It's not easy having to confine my taste to a little box.
But one band? Radiohead. A few more bands? Pink Floyd, Of Montreal, TV on the radio, Black Mountain, My Morning Jacket, Jenny Lewis, Pavement. I also like electronica and reggae... Hit me with some new music any day!

Books: Mostly enjoy non fiction, but also swallowed Philip Pullmans trilogy and any other fantasy novels I could lay my hands on :) Wild Swans is the reason I decided to travel 4 months in China

Movies: I love watching movies but I guess if I had to choose one director (or two!) it would be the Coen Brothers, any movie by them! Especially the Big Lebowski and Oh Brother Where Art

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Only one thing? Pfffff.... hahaha

Learned to drive a motorbike in Saigon, Vietnam before driving 4000km, slept in an Ice Hotel within the Arctic circle, swung with monkeys in the jungle in Laos, flew in a helicopter around Fox Glacier (NZ), travelled to the Antarctic, took a slow boat through the amazonian rainforest, hitchhiked through Patagonia...
