ABOUT ME

I'm a genuine person, witty, charming and has a simple life. I love to travel. However, I work alot, so I'm limited to vacations that are planned and executed.

I have a home that is currently occupied by yours truly, so this should be fun for anyone looking to crash somewhere short term once I get my place suitable for guests. That means I can have a dirnk or meal with fellow travelers or if time permits show you around the area. I will let everyone know when my place is renovated and welcoming you all.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is hospitality and meeting new people and enjoying life. My feelings open, willing and excited. Thoughts are passionate, genuine and humble.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as the rooms & bathrooms are renovated I can host. When you do, you'll have full access to a hall bathroom just for you. I also have a couch for those not interested in sleeping in the room. ;) I love to meet new people and converse.

I have a washer and dryer to clean clothes. Right now I can meet for coffee or drinks, and perhaps show you around if time permits.

I just got home from traveling Ireland and Scotland. I met folks there for coffee/drink as I had booked rooms at places I visited. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done youth hostels, room & board, stayed with many friends growing up, homes as a guest, etc. People love it when they come to my place. I cook, have movies, and love entertaining.

I am relatively new to this site. I registered last year and now looking to have coffee with folks while I'm traveling Ireland & Scotland. Hoping to make new friends along the way! Happy surfing everyone! Met a few great people, both on this site and others similar to it. Great experience and previous scary ones, so I am giving it a 2nd go.

Interests

Movies, like period pieces, action, romantic comedies, or thrillers. Music is very eclectic. Books are mystery suspense or nonfiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled abroad as a teen alone and made it "home" in one piece.

Survived an illness.

As a person fear of heights, I've completed my first really large roller coaster ride & ferris wheel. (Not too impressive to others but for me was a big step to being all grown up)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm knowledgeable about finding things for a good price, bargain hunter, and a teacher of human compassion and understanding the human mind and behaviors.
I love learning about Celtic Cultures especially, but love to learn about anyone and everyone's culture, traditions, and food. Learning about them gives me a chance to be apart of someone else's experience vicariously.
