About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people, make new friends and learn from each other.

ABOUT ME

I aspire to have a more "on the road" attitude like Mr. Kerouac but I certainly don't want to drink myself to death the way he did. I'm a voracious/ambitious reader. I try to cook whatever whenever I can. I'm mostly busy working but when I get free time, I try to go out with friends and travel. I like to go trekking but I don't do it as often as I would like. I like to go to the beach. I enjoy meeting new people. It is one of the best ways to learn about the world. If you want to hang out and do whatever just hit me up.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure how this works but the whole concept seems cool.

Interests

Anything. I like to try new things as much as I can. Mostly I read a lot and go out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds. I watch a lot of movies. I like the indie, low budget stuff that no one ever watches. They're the best ones. For music, I listen to a lot of folksy stuff my friend likes to call depressing music. There are way too many books that I like but the ones worth mentioning are East of Eden by John Steinbeck, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, On the Road by Jack Kerouac, The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir and many many others. Books on Social Psych are great too. Reading a lot of that now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The simple things are amazing.
-Skinny dipping with friends in Malapascua
-Trekking partially barefoot from Osmeña Peak to Kawasan in the pouring rain (over 7 hours)
-Almost falling off the edge of the mountain while trekking partially barefoot in the pouring rain
-Getting lost in SG with a friend.
-Getting lost in Hong kong with my brother
-Getting lost during a hike
-Getting lost anywhere.
-Traveling to and touring Siquijor including meeting that old lady who did an amazing voodoo healing of sorts.
-Roadtrippin' around Bohol, Cebu, anywhere.
-Meeting volunteers who do amazing things for dogs and street children.
-Volunteering to help volunteers who do amazing things for dogs and street children.
