About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Use my education to make a positive impact on people's lives
ABOUT ME
I work at a nonprofit legal organization specializing in campaign finance reform in New York City. I am about to attend Stanford University in the autumn for my PhD in Sociology.
PHILOSOPHY
I thrive on purpose. I want to live a purposeful life. I know where I am headed, what I want to do, and I derive pleasure from pursuing that goal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
On a journey to "discover myself", as cliche as that might sound, I was floored by the kindness and warmth strangers displayed to me when I stayed with them. The kindness of the people on this website keeps me on here.
Interests
TV, world politics, women's issues, cats.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any legal drama; I love reading long articles off the NYTimes magazine or the New Yorker before bed (and then forgetting all of it during a good night's sleep!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This summer before starting school again! I will stay in Paris in June, Tokyo for July, some time Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, New Zealand etc. in August. And maybe back to Paris for a while in early September.
I have travelled to more countries than my age (I am almost 24).
Teach, Learn, Share
Hong Kong is a very multicultural place, and I am so lucky to have had experienced that growing up. I have a lot of experiences with regards to growing up in Hong Kong, Chinese politics, traveling, going to school in America, Japanese society, involvement with the LGBTQ community etc. I love learning new things and I'm always excited to meet new people.
