I love adventuring, traveling, hiking, listening to music/concerts, dancing, and learning. I study Integrated Marketing Communications at Ithaca College in upstate NY. I love getting to know other people and value experiences over owning goods. I'm open-minded and love to hear about other people's adventures. I just finished studying abroad in Barcelona. It was my first time in Europe but definitely not my last! I'm back in LA for the summer, lmk if you want to meet up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's such a cool concept! I spent my last days in Barcelona attending three couch surfing meet up events and it was hands down the best experiences I could have had. Sadly, wish I could have done it sooner but glad to know I have new connections in BCN when I return!

My motto is "get comfortable being uncomfortable" and I feel like I experience the most growth that way. Rarely do people move from CA but that's why I moved from LA to go to college in NY and studied abroad in Spain -- to make new friends, new connections, and move away from my comfort zone.

Trying to differentiate myself from the other cool-sounding couch surfers can be tough and honestly getting to know someone and meeting them offline is always better than reading about them.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies from Tame Impala to Frank Sinatra to Childish Gambino. I listen to anything, doesn't mean I love everything but I can tolerate it. In other words, I used to say I didn't like country but my friend changed that.

What I miss the most about my childhood is Movie Wednesday where my family and I would get together and watch 2-3 movies a week. Love comedies, rom coms, suspense, action movies, and have recently struck an interest in documentaries.

My most recent read is Marina (Spanish novel) and one of my favorite books is The Little Prince.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most rewarding and amazing experience I've had recently is going to Morocco and truly experiencing culture shock, experiencing hail in Chefchouen, and watching the waves crash at the Hercules Cave.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an eager learner willing to teach anything I know! I'd love to learn guitar -- I only know a few basic chords. I can share my sense of humor and I've been told I'm a good listener. Someone teach me how to code or cook a good meal? Do you like baking? Let's bake!
