I study Molecular Biology and Genetics with an Archeology minor. I am a part time photographer and I mostly shoot punk or jazz bands. I grew up in a little village on hillside in Urla and now I live in a shared flat in Istanbul (with two great girls and a crazy cat), so I am used to living communally and respecting other's boundaries.

I think connecting with locals is the most authentic way to truly understand a place and its culture. I have always had great experiences with people I've met on the road.

My housing situation is a bit tricky at the moment but if you need help with anything else i'd be more than happy to give some recs :)

i love james baldwin, emile zola, ahmet hamdi tanpınar, tomris uyar and also any archaeology related book
and i'd listen to anything funky, groovy, jazzy...

I am a photographer so I can take your or your houses professional photos. We can even do a themed photoshoot! Turkish cuisine is really good and diverse, so I can cook you something that you will like. Or I can teach you a little bit of Turkish.
