ABOUT US

TLDR

We are a family of 5 :-)
We love to travel, we love to discover, we love to meet new people :-)
Lily is a full time mum with great baking and cooking skills @beleafinvegan. She runs our family’s insta profile too @lilolif.
Filip is a professional photographer @shootmephil so together we make a pretty great team :-)
With addition of 3 little B’s: Beniamin (5yo), Boniface (3yo) and Bianka (3mo) we are a team of adventurers.
We are raising our children to be bilingual and their English skills are pretty amazing!

Filip:
I love to take pictures! I married the most beautiful girl in the world :) and I have the most adorable son I've ever had :P

I love to travel. I've started to go abroad when I was a kid, when I was dancing in a folkloristic group. But my first travel abroad was to Iceland where it all has started. I love to leave pieces of my soul all over the places I've been to.

I'm the lucky guy, who have married a travelling girl, Lilly, who's interest in travelling is exactly the same as mine!

We've been vegans for the last 3 years!

They say I have a sense of humor, so porobably I do :)

I love music, I feel so bad, when I can't listen to my favourite music, which is mostly alternative bands. Kings of Convenience - that's my number one!!!

We're not a disco-night-party-drinking-to-death folks, but we like to hang around at night and chat with friends, or dance the "freestyle" dance :)

We are practising catholics and we truelly believe in God and his power, and that all of our paths are already set by Him!

We are not "catholic freaks" and we accept different religions, philosophies or lifestyles. We lived with a muslim family for 6 weeks in Malaysia, we stayed with a naturist in Australia...so we are very opened minded :)

PHILOSOPHY

My (Filip's) personal philosophy is based on Bible and a Catholic Church. I believe that no matter what happens, good or bad, happened because that was God's plan, and I always try to find out and explain to myself what has God wanted to tell me through it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My best friend Piotr Laskowski introduced me to CouchSurfing when we travelled to Moscov together. I found it totally unreal! But now it became my and my wife's travelstyle :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch was in Moscov, where I become to like it! I don't have any negative couchsurfing experiences! They are all nice and funny memories. I was afraid of the idea of couchsurfing, but I was wrong thinking that it's not safe. It is! and it's really fantastic!

- got married :D

- eaten a half of boiled sheeps head leaving bones and teeths only
- jumped from a waterfall in Kirkjubajarklaustur/Iceland
- swam in Mount Pinatubo /Philippines
- swam with a whaleshark /Philippines
- landed up on Franz Josephs glacier on a skiplane in Aoraki Mount Cook /New Zealand
- cought a eagleray in Marlborough Sounds in New Zealand
