Hey:) I'm an art student from Ukraine living in Czech Republic. I'm doing stop motion animation, book illustration, mural painting and recently I also started to film short documentaries. I love being in a community, where people share and interchange creative skills with each other. Especially I enjoy music jams or music improvisation events, where I can be a part of this crazy flow of joy and rhythm without being skilful in any musical instrument - this is the beauty of learning new things from the people you meet on the way. And in return, I'll be very excited to share what I know about fine arts, filmmaking and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking forward to meeting people with similar interests and go traveling together. I decided to join Couchsurfing, because I believe it's a community of like-minded people and find absolutely thrilling how sometimes random encounters turn into strong friendships. When I'm travelling, I try to connect with local people, as I'm curious to discover a new culture for me from within. Also people from different cultures than mine have very distinct mindsets and views on the world, and I believe that by sharing that, we enrich each other. Let's be open to the world and go with the wonderful flow of life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm crazy about Latino music, I dance salsa bachata and a bit of forro. As to the movies, I watch mostly either animated movies, musicals or documentaries. My top 3 favourites: "The Song of the Sea", "Musica" and "What happened, Miss Simone?"

I started solo traveling at the age of 16 and learnt 3 new languages since then:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's dance together! And if you're into arts, let's have a sketching session out in the city, I'd be happy to be a guide in this activity:) Or we can paint a wall together, as we did with my last hosts❤️😊 I can also teach how to do stop motion animation, as I've been working in kids summer camps. I can show how to work with camera or with softwares, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dragonframe to create amazing short movies!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always open for cultural and language exchange. I'd gladly help with household tasks and will keep everything in order and clean. I can look after the kids, as I've been working with kids for few years now . And if you want, I'd be happy to share a traditional Ukrainian meal with you:) And above I also describe the hard skills I can teach and share with you, so I hope you'll find that interesting!😉😀
